FAQs

The Experience

What is Secret Cinema?

We bring your most loved stories to life through immersive experiences of unparalleled proportions. Expect an unforgettable evening as you get lost in the world of Dirty Dancing.

What happens on the night?

Our experiences explore one of the forgotten pleasures in a world with constant access to information: secrets. What we can promise is 3+ hours of remarkable surprises and pure disbelief. Secret storylines. Iconic locations. Memorable characters. Filmic dreamscapes.

Do you need to watch the film before attending?

Some choose to study the film religiously so they can recognise the finer details during the night. Others argue that this is the ultimate way to experience the film for the first time. The choice is yours!

Will we watch the film?

Yes. All guests will watch the film after the immersive experience.

Will there be seating?

Guests should be prepared to stand throughout the immersive experience as seating will be limited. During the screening, all seating is on the grass. Feel free to bring picnic blankets and/or cushions to the Event, however, please be sure to take them with you when you leave. Please do not bring chairs or stools as they obstruct other guests' ability to see the screen. Guests arriving with chairs will be asked to leave them at the entrance for collection on departure.

Do you need to go in character/costume?

We actively encourage everyone to dress for the event. This website will prepare you for the evening, giving you all the information you need, including your bespoke character to dress as for the evening. This is your chance to get creative and express yourself!

Is this an indoor event?

No. This is an outdoor live immersive experience which will take place on grass at a secret location in London (UK). The event will go ahead in all weather conditions if it is safe to do so.
